Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. seeks an experienced Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement electrical control systems for industrial automation projects. You will manage project scopes and budgets, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

The role entails developing PLC and HMI programs, selecting drives and motors, and providing technical leadership to junior engineers. Strong schematic reading and MATLAB/CAD proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required or preferred.
• Experience in controls engineering with leadership responsibilities is required.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and understanding motor control theory.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Lead the development and modification of machine control hardware and automation software.
• Perform PLC and HMI configuration and programming for industrial controls.
• Select and configure AC/DC drives and motors including servo solutions.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 79, UL, CSA, and CE standards.
