Job summary

TAS Energy, a Houston-based company, seeks a Controls Engineer to design, program, and support controls for industrial and data center projects. You will interpret electrical diagrams, develop I/O layouts, and create manufacturing drawings while collaborating with engineering and project teams to deliver comprehensive control scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Controls Engineering from an accredited four-year program.
• A substitution of military leadership and/or technical work experience may be considered in lieu of a technical degree.
• Demonstrated proficiency in technical writing and comprehensive documentation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from electrical drawings including one-line diagrams, network layouts, and control panel schematics.
• Support controls system design, including panel layouts, I/O design, and circuit development.
• Create and Review Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Work with design team to provide complete manufacturing drawings.
• Work with engineering and project teams to execute controls scope for projects.
• Support field activities including commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.
• Serve as primary customer contact, respond to internal and customer technical inquiries related to controls systems.
