Job summary

ProTech seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer to design electrical controls for industrial machinery, develop schematics and wiring diagrams, and program PLC/HMI systems. You will prepare quotations, define performance requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver optimized solutions.

You will also coordinate demonstrations, train customers and internal staff, and ensure compliance with specifications and timelines throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electrical controls for industrial machinery.
• Experience creating/editing electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience programming PLC/HMI products using multiple software packages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quotations for products, services and engineering needs.
• Develop equipment specifications, performance requirements, cost analyses and proposals.
• Develop models of alternate processing methods and test feasibility of new applications.
• Confers with engineering, marketing and sales to provide technical information.
• Coordinates presale demonstrations and trade show exhibitions.
