Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Co. is seeking a motivated scientist to join the GSC R&D Colorant team, focusing on colorant dispersions, product development, and collaboration with plant operations and QC for scale-up.

The role involves leading projects, effective communication in reports, and cross-functional teamwork. Responsibilities include evaluating colorant technologies, driving product development for performance, and documenting results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math field.
• Minimum of 3 years of paint and coatings or related project management experience.
• Must be able to tint paint to customer colors.
• Experience in scale-up procedures for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate colorant technologies, batch-making and testing, and data analysis.
• Lead project meetings and communicate key findings to stakeholders.
• Document lab results and technical information accurately.
• Drive raw material supply assurance, cost-savings, and risk reduction projects.
• Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities and lead implementations.
• Create and adjust project timelines and manage time with supervisor input.
