Job summary

Sealed Air in Duncan, Oklahoma, offers a co-op/internship opportunity for Electrical or Computer Engineering students. Qualifications

• 1.5+ years toward a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• GPA 2.5 or higher
• Authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship
• Must be able to handle and be in direct contact with raw meat and protein products
• Able to provide own transportation to the co-op location
• Ability to travel to customer locations and work in an industrial environment

Responsibilities

• Work hands on to test, troubleshoot, assemble, and modify various pieces of food packaging equipment and their components
• Design new equipment using PLC/HMI and CAD software
• Work with manufacturing to build prototypes and commercial equipment
• Prepare and modify engineering drawings for ongoing projects
• Plan and conduct testing of machines to validate fitness for use in the field
• Plan and conduct experiments for the development of new products and processes under the direction of an experienced engineer
• Assist with field installations and tests as needed
