Sealed Air offers a co‑op/internship program designed to develop the next generation of engineers. Students will conduct lab research in areas like food, medical, and protective packaging while rotating through projects and presenting learnings to leadership teams.

Eligible candidates are pursuing Electrical or Computer Engineering with a GPA of 2.5+, able to travel to customer sites, and willing to work in an industrial environment. Housing stipend is provided for commuting long distances.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing at least 1.5 years toward a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Work hands-on to test, troubleshoot, assemble, and modify packaging equipment components.
• Design new equipment using PLC/HMI and CAD software.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to build prototypes and commercial equipment.
• Prepare and modify engineering drawings for ongoing projects.
• Plan and conduct testing of machines to validate field fitness.
• Plan and conduct experiments for development of new products and processes under supervision.
• Assist with field installations and tests as needed.
