Job summary

Porter Pipe & Supply in Addison, IL is seeking a Quotes Team Representative to join our inside sales group. In this full-time role you will generate quotes, communicate pricing strategies, and collaborate with the Inside and Outside teams to serve customers efficiently.

You should have strong quoting experience, technical product knowledge, and excellent written and spoken communication. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's is preferred, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP/CRM

Qualifications

• Experience with quoting and technical product knowledge.
• Excellent written, verbal, and phone communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Generate quotes in a prioritized manner ensuring communication between the Inside and Outside team regarding quote timelines.
• Prepare submittal documentation upon request from customers.
• Provide quotes to customers based on technical product specifications.
• Provide positive customer experience through timely and accurate quotations processing.
• Work within provided pricing strategies to drive incremental business at approved margins.
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, and continuous quality improvement objectives.
• Support customer projects throughout their duration to ensure all customer/project needs are met.
• Market, promote and understand all the Company's service-related items that are available to our customers.
