Consolidated Pipe & Supply Co., Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to aggressively prospect and develop accounts, generate sales quotes, and handle customer inquiries.

You will make cold and warm calls for new market initiatives while becoming technically knowledgeable about our products and vendors. The role requires responding to customers, issuing price quotations for stock items by phone, processing RFQs for non-stock items, and maintaining thorough documentation of all

• Ability to generate price quotations by phone for stock items.
• Prepare RFQ forms for non-stock items and return quotations.
• Document every transaction from RFQ to PO and changes.
• Identify and develop marketing opportunities via outreach.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customers’ needs with quality, culture, and business practices.
• Receive requests for price quotes, purchase orders, and changes via phone.
• Maintain rapport with customers and deliver the best possible service.
• Use computer tools to retrieve customer data and order status.
• Follow up on inquiries and coordinate with purchasing/expeditor for deliveries.
• Provide immediate price quotes on stock items by phone; prepare RFQs for non-stock items.
• Quote prices, terms, and delivery dates based on knowledge of products and forecasts.
• Obtain quotes from vendors to meet customer requirements.
• Document all transactions from RFQ to PO to changes.
• Develop new and existing marketing opportunities through mailings and trade show leads.
• Target sales with outside representatives and inventory reports.
