Job summary

Consolidated Electrical Distributors seeks a Quotation Specialist Trainee - Switchgear Sales to support the sales team by quoting and coordinating pre-bid takeoffs. The role is customer-facing, develops pricing from vendors, and handles multiple bid opportunities while gaining exposure to warehouse operations and customer service.

As a Trainee, you will rotate through Warehouse Operations and Customer Service, reporting to Operations and PC Manager, with growth into a full Quotations Specialist

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
• Familiarity with Office Suite software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service through communication skills and technical ability.
• Review specifications and electrical construction drawings.
• Be a resource for coworkers with regard to design and technical questions.
• Perform take-offs for materials to be quoted.
• Create accurate and complete bill of materials.
• Work closely with the sales team to strategize on project quotes.
