Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Quotations Specialist to manage the quotations process from request to quote submission, coordinating with sales reps, customer service, customers and manufacturers to gather details for accurate quotes.

You will prepare cost estimates, contact factories for cost information, collaborate with sales and service teams, build relationships with customers and suppliers, and price material BOM differences for complete comparisons.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience preferred.
• High School education required or equivalent.
• 2-year degree in Business or related preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material.
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives.
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations.
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to price differences for complete comparisons.
