Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Quotations Specialist to manage the quotations process from request to submission to the customer. You will interact with Graybar sales reps, customer service, customers and manufacturers to gather details for accurate quotes.

Responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, contacting factories, and ensuring on-time quotes. 2+ years of experience and knowledge of SAP/Excel recommended; typically Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas.
• 2+ years experience preferred.
• High School education; 2 year degree in Business or related preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material.
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives.
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations.
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of materials to price differences for complete comparisons.
