Job summary
Graybar is seeking a Quotations Specialist to manage the quotations process from request to quote submission. You will interact with Graybar sales, customer service, customers, and manufacturer reps to gather details and create quotes that are profitable for the company.
You will learn our product lines and pricing mechanics while using SAP and Excel to price materials and prepare cost estimates. The role stresses meeting deadlines and strong customer service, with opportunities for teamwork
Qualifications
- Customer service and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to meet deadlines is required.
- Knowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas is needed.
- 2+ years experience preferred.
- High School education is required.
- 2 year degree in Business or related preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates of material.
- Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information.
- Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives.
- Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations.
- Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to ascertain and price any differences for complete comparisons.
