Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Quotations Specialist to manage the quotations process from receipt to quote submission. You will communicate with Graybar sales reps, customer service representatives, customers and manufacturer representatives to gather details and create accurate quotes.

You will learn about our product lines and pricing mechanics and use our systems to provide quotations that drive profitable sales for Graybar.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas
• 2+ years experience preferred
• High School education
• 2 year degree in Business or related preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information
• Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to ascertain and price any differences for complete comparisons
