You will coordinate bidding and quotations, analyze blueprints, assemble BOMs, and work with vendors to price projects accurately. The role emphasizes timely proposals and margin-aligned pricing strategies.

Ideal candidates have a business degree and 3+ years in electrical product distribution, with strong math, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business or related field or equivalent on the job experience.
• 3+ years of experience with electrical and lighting products and related materials.
• Strong math, analytical, and blueprint reading abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to accurately read blueprints and spec layouts.
• Strong attention to details and demonstrated follow-up skills.
• Demonstrated time management and organization skills, including the ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions.
• Proven proficiency in the use of a personal computer accompanied by a strong aptitude for technical applications, as well as in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word & Excel.
• Developed knowledge of the industrial/commercial/contractor market.
• Demonstrated capability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project blueprints to identify required specs and BOMs.
• Prepare BOMs and obtain pricing from vendors.
• Formulate bid pricing strategy aligned with margins.
• Submit complete project bid proposals by deadlines.
• Maintain an accurate bid follow-up system.
• Coordinate the ordering and delivery processes after proposal awards with sales teams.
