Job summary

Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, seeks a Project Coordinator in Council Bluffs, IA to assist the Quotation Coordinator and Sales Team with quotations and order management. The role requires strong customer service, accurate follow-up, and inventory knowledge to ensure timely deliveries.

A minimum of two years in electrical or distribution experience is preferred. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, with standard business hours, and offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing learning

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with secondary or post-secondary coursework concentrated on sales/marketing, or equivalent on the job experience.
• Two (2) years of electrical or distribution experience and/or product and application knowledge.
• Commitment to high ethical standards and strong customer service orientation.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Time management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail with problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in date entry and 10-key pad; familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quotations Coordinator and Sales Team during quotations process and manage orders from quotations.
• Communicate with customers to gather pricing and information for bids.
• Follow up on promises to customers and expediting deliveries.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory and substitutions.
• Enter quotations and direct orders into the system and handle orders, backorders, and vendor PO's.
• Manage job order aspects including RGAs, defects, invoicing, complaints, and reimbursement.
• Process vendor returns and credit adjustments.
• Provide product knowledge and understand product applications.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely communication and delivery.
• Support other branches in securing and facilitating orders.
• Prepare small quotes for customer projects.
• Attend product sales meetings to develop product knowledge.
• Perform other duties as required.
