Job summary

ThorntonAutomotive Group in Central Pennsylvania is seeking a Quick Service Technician to join our team. You will perform high-volume maintenance with speed, accuracy, and a customer-first attitude, acting as a front-line ambassador for our service department.

The ideal candidate has basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on automotive maintenance experience, valid driver's license, and a commitment to quality. ASE certifications are a plus; manufacturer training is available.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with automotive maintenance.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certification(s) a plus; manufacturer training available.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid top-offs, and multi-point inspections
• Replace wiper blades, batteries, cabin and engine air filters, and other quick-service items
• Document inspections and communicate additional service recommendations to advisors
• Work efficiently to meet lane volume targets while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Keep service bays clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Assist with customer check-in and vehicle staging as needed
