Job summary

Jim Shorkey Uniontown is seeking a dedicated Quick Lane Technician to join our automotive service team. If you enjoy hands-on work and a supportive, fast-paced shop, this is the right place to grow your career.

You will perform routine maintenance tasks, document repairs, and follow dealership standards. Requirements include a valid driver's license with a clean MVR, ability to pass background and drug tests, and experience with automatic or manual transmissions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Basic understanding of car maintenance; knowledge of servicing or repair highly desired.
• Able to drive both automatic and manual transmissions; able to lift heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements, to prevent problems before they occur.
• Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance services performed on vehicles.
• Perform basic safety inspection while draining oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil.
• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Replace air filters, cabin air filters, and wiper blades, additional services as outlined by management
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replace, or replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and add air if needed.

Requirements
