Job summary

Chapman Ford of Columbia is expanding its Express Service department and seeks an energetic Express Service Technician who loves cars and teamwork. This full-time role is in Columbia, PA, offering growth and hands-on dealership training.

You will perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations, communicate vehicle needs to Service Advisors, and maintain a safe, organized workspace with modern equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive maintenance is required.
• Experience at independent quick-lube shops is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; ASE PA State Inspection license a plus but not required.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As an Express Service Technician, you are the backbone of our fast-lane maintenance team, delivering efficient, high-quality care to our customers' vehicles. Your daily tasks will include:

• Performing routine maintenance: oil changes, filter replacements, fluid flushes, and tire rotations.
• Conducting thorough complimentary multi-point safety inspections to identify potential vehicle needs.
• Clearly communicating vehicle health and required maintenance to Service Advisors.
• Utilizing factory training resources to keep expanding your technical knowledge.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

• Experience: Previous automotive maintenance experience is required. (Experience at independent quick-lube shops is a major plus!)
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Credentials: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. ASE certifications or a PA State Inspection license are a plus but not required to start.
• Mindset: A strong work ethic, high energy, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude.
