Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking Quick Service Cooks to join our Concessions team. In this fast-paced role, you will prepare and serve quality food, contribute to a positive guest experience, and collaborate with a driven culinary team.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling, and pay rates between $15 and $18 per hour. Locations include WI, OH, PA, TX and VA, with a strong commitment to Guest satisfaction and growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant/food/concessions outlet production kitchen (preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment, under pressure, and meet deadlines with attention to detail
• Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and proper food safety procedures
• Set up and maintain an organized, well-stocked workstation
• Work with the culinary team to ensure timely, accurate preparation and service
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas
• Follow proper food handling and temperature-control procedures to ensure a safe kitchen environment

Quick Service Cook

We are seeking enthusiastic culinary team members of all experience levels to join our Concessions team as Quick Service Cooks. In this fast-paced role, you will prepare and serve quality food efficiently, create a positive experience for our guests, and work as part of a collaborative team.

Pay rate: $15-$18/hr.

We are hiring for both full-time and part-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling options available.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and proper food safety procedures.
• Set up and maintain an organized, well-stocked workstation throughout each shift.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure food is prepared accurately and served in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and temperature-control procedures while helping maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

What We’re Looking For

• 1 + years of experience in a high-volume restaurant/food/concessions outlet production kitchen is preferred, or experience in a similar capacity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines with particular attention to detail.
• Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs. without restriction.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
