Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Quick Service Chef to lead main kitchen production, manage recipes, and ensure sanitation and food safety standards. You will oversee ordering, inventory, and requisitions across outlets and the associate dining room.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive culinary experience and three years in culinary management.
• Basic knowledge of P&L, labor control and food cost/recipe costing.

Quick Service Chef

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Quick Service Chef. In this role, you willoversee all main kitchen food production, including recipe management, ordering food and supplies, and fulfilling requisitions forall outlets and the associate dining room.This role ensures proper sanitation, equipment maintenance, inventory management, and compliance with HACCP and food safety standards. The position mayassistwith banquet or bakery operations as needed.

As aMain Kitchen Production Chef, you willLead With Loveby supporting, mentoring, and respecting yourteam whilemaintaininghigh standardsfor food quality, safety, and consistency. Theywillfoster a positive kitchen culture by recognizinghard work, teaching proper techniques, and stepping in to support the team whenever needed.

This role requires availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary Range - $70k - $80k

Key Responsibilities

• Kitchen Management – overseeing day-to-day operations, including food preparation, cooking, and quality control, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
• Cost Management and Inventory control- monitoringlabor, inventory, and managing supplies to ensure thekitchen is well stocked and minimizing waste.
• Maintaininghigh standardsand sanitation practices – continuously working to improve the kitchen’s efficiency, workflow, and overall quality of food and service.

WhatWe’reLooking For

• Werequirea background of fiveyears' progressive culinary experience and three years of culinary management experience.
• Basic knowledge of P&L, labor control, & food cost/recipe costing.
• Culinaryexpertise, attention to detail, and strong leadership skills.
• Demonstrate flexibility by stepping inwhereneeded to provide hands‑on support to teams,maintainservice excellence, and ensure seamless execution during high-volume and peak periods.
• A culinary degree is preferred but notrequired.
