Qualifications
- Previous quick lube/dealership/tire shop/ automotive service experience is a plus.
- Basic automotive mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to safely use automotive hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership service department.
- Willingness to learn and complete additional automotive training.
- Ability to work with technicians, Service Advisors, and management.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes.
- Complete tire rotations and tire pressure checks.
- Check and top off vehicle fluids.
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections.
- Inspect tires, brakes, belts, hoses, filters, and other basic vehicle components.
- Replace engine and cabin air filters.
- Replace windshield wipers and other maintenance items.
- Assist with basic automotive maintenance and light repairs.
- Identify potential maintenance and repair needs during inspections.
- Communicate vehicle concerns to Service Advisors.
- Accurately document completed services and inspection results.
- Safely operate vehicle lifts, automotive tools, and service equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow Chevrolet, GM, and dealership service procedures.
- Help maintain an efficient flow of vehicles through the service department.

McElwain Chevrolet is hiring an Express Lube Technician / Quick Lube Technician to join our automotive service team in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.
