Diehl Chevrolet/Toyota of Hermitage is seeking an Express Lube Technician to join our service team in Hermitage, PA. This entry-level to mid-career position focuses on quick lube and preventive maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and basic inspections under supervision.

Youll gain dealership experience with Chevrolet and Toyota brands, learn service procedures, and advance toward a full Automotive Technician role in a supportive, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Basic automotive knowledge required or learned quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes and tire rotations.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids; inspect belts, hoses, and brakes.

• Document services and inspections accurately for Service Advisors.

Express Lube Technician – Hermitage, PA

Diehl Chevrolet/Toyota of Hermitage is hiring an Express Lube Technician / Quick Lube Technician to join our growing automotive service team in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.

Express Lube Technician Responsibilities

As an Express Lube Technician at Diehl Chevrolet/Toyota of Hermitage, you'll perform essential maintenance services while helping our service department provide an efficient and professional experience for our customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform oil and filter changes
• Complete tire rotations and tire pressure checks
• Check and top off vehicle fluids
• Perform multi‑point vehicle inspections
• Inspect tires, brakes, belts, hoses, filters, and other basic vehicle components
• Replace engine air filters and cabin air filters
• Replace windshield wipers and other basic maintenance items
• Assist with basic automotive maintenance and light repairs
• Identify potential maintenance and repair needs
• Communicate inspection findings to Service Advisors
• Properly document completed services and inspections
• Safely operate vehicle lifts, automotive tools, and service equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow Chevrolet, Toyota, and dealership service procedures
• Help maintain an efficient flow of vehicles through the service department

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous quick lube, dealership, tire shop, or automotive service experience is a plus
• Basic automotive mechanical knowledge
• Ability to safely use automotive hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Willingness to learn and complete additional automotive training
• Ability to work effectively with technicians, Service Advisors, and management
• Valid driver's license

Entry-level automotive candidates are encouraged to apply.

Experience with Chevrolet, Toyota, GM, ASE-certified repair facilities, independent repair shops, quick‑lube centers, tire shops, or other automotive dealerships is a plus but not required.
