Diehl Chevrolet/Toyota of Hermitage is hiring an Express Lube Technician / Quick Lube Technician to join our service team in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. If you enjoy working on cars and want to start or advance your career as an Automotive Technician, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on dealership experience with Chevrolet, Toyota, and a variety of pre-owned vehicles.

Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; prior quick lube or dealership experience is a plus, but basic automotive

Qualifications

• Previous quick lube, dealership, tire shop, or automotive service experience is a plus
• Basic automotive mechanical knowledge
• Ability to safely use automotive hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Willingness to learn and complete additional automotive training
• Ability to work effectively with technicians, Service Advisors, and management
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes
• Complete tire rotations and tire pressure checks
• Check and top off vehicle fluids
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections
• Inspect tires, brakes, belts, hoses, filters, and other basic vehicle components
• Replace engine air filters and cabin air filters
• Replace windshield wipers and other basic maintenance items
• Assist with basic automotive maintenance and light repairs
• Identify potential maintenance and repair needs
• Communicate inspection findings to Service Advisors
• Properly document completed services and inspections
• Safely operate vehicle lifts, automotive tools, and service equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow Chevrolet, Toyota, and dealership service procedures
• Help maintain an efficient flow of vehicles through the service department
