Qualifications

• Previous quick lube/dealership/tire shop/ automotive service experience is a plus.
• Basic automotive mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to safely use automotive hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership service department.
• Willingness to learn and complete additional automotive training.
• Ability to work with technicians, Service Advisors, and management.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes.
• Complete tire rotations and tire pressure checks.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids.
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections.
• Inspect tires, brakes, belts, hoses, filters, and other basic vehicle components.
• Replace engine and cabin air filters.
• Replace windshield wipers and other maintenance items.
• Assist with basic automotive maintenance and light repairs.
• Identify potential maintenance and repair needs during inspections.
• Communicate vehicle concerns to Service Advisors.
• Accurately document completed services and inspection results.
• Safely operate vehicle lifts, automotive tools, and service equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow Chevrolet, GM, and dealership service procedures.
• Help maintain an efficient flow of vehicles through the service department.
