Job summary

Giles Hyundai in Pineville, LA, is seeking an Entry-Level Quick Lube Technician to join our busy service team. Starting pay is $13/hr with potential for more with experience; this role is ideal for hands-on learners aiming to grow into a certified technician.

We offer a supportive, team-driven environment and opportunities to learn daily. As part of our service department, you’ll perform routine maintenance, follow dealership standards, and develop skills with diagnostic tools and vehicle care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Have valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
• Must pass required pre-employment drug screening.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hardworking, eager to learn, and proud of doing the job right.
• Comfortable using tools and performing physical tasks.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have basic computer literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, brake pad replacements, and vehicle inspections.
• Follow all dealership and factory standards on all repair orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and proper care of tools.
• Communicate effectively with parts department and service advisors.
• Test drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools as needed.
• Deliver excellent service and attention to detail on every vehicle.
