Job summary

Koeppel Auto Group in New York is seeking skilled automotive technicians to join a team focused on quality service and professional growth. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, ensuring systems function properly and safely across a variety of models.

The role requires NYS Inspection License, strong diagnostic skills, and a drive to learn new procedures while delivering dependable customer satisfaction daily.

Qualifications

• Must have New York State Inspection License.
• Deep understanding of automobiles and accurate diagnostic abilities.
• Able to analyze issues and communicate findings clearly.
• Willingness to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASE certification/technical degree is a plus.
• One year in a service department with a valid driver’s license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly.
• Isolate systems or components that might have caused the problem.
• Drive the vehicle for testing and inspect and refill fluids as needed.
• Ensure tire pressure is correct and fittings are lubricated.
• Install a new oil drain plug and oil filter and report oil levels to teammates.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles with accuracy and efficiency.
• Repair or replace worn parts before breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and hand tools to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly
