Job summary

US Lawns in Valley Stream, NY is seeking a motivated Lube Technician to join our service team and grow within a fast-paced automotive operation.

You will perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid top-offs, and basic maintenance while coordinating with senior technicians to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of experience in automotive service or maintenance.
• ASE certifications.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and interest in automotive repair.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels, air filters, belts, and other basic components.
• Check and adjust tire pressure.
• Assist in basic maintenance tasks such as battery installations and bulb replacements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate clearly with the service team regarding vehicle status and recommendations.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the dealership professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services that keep our customers' vehicles in top condition. You’ll work closely with experienced technicians and service advisors to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years of experience, an unrestricted driver's license, and a clean driving record. Strong physical dexterity and stamina are required, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Candidates should have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and deliver excellent customer service. State-certified inspectors are a plus.

Schedule

5 Day Work Week - 7:30 am - 5 pm (4 days Mon-Fri and 1 Saturday)

Looking for a candidate who can work 4 weekdays and Saturday
