An automotive service provider in Fort Worth, Texas is looking for a skilled automotive technician to ensure vehicles are functioning securely and reliably. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, testing vehicles, maintaining fluid levels, and repairing or replacing parts as necessary. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of automobiles, excellent diagnostic abilities, and at least one year of service department experience. Responsibilities

• Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly.
• Isolate systems or components that might cause problems.
• Drive vehicles for testing and inspect fluid levels.
• Ensure tire pressure is correct and lubricate fittings.
• Install new oil drain plugs and oil filters.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnostics and repairs.
• Repair or replace worn parts before breakdown.
• Use power and hand tools for various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly.
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Install a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles.
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
