Job summary

Bill Talley Ford, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking an energetic Service Advisor to greet customers, collect vehicle information, and clearly report repair needs and costs.

You will prepare labor and parts estimates, monitor progress, and keep customers updated throughout the service experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of exceptional customer satisfaction, experience as a service advisor or consultant, and a long-term commitment to growth within a growing, family-owned

• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant.
• Very energetic personality; desire for a long-term career with a growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly.
• Obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
• Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage and history.
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
• Establish follow up time.
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently.
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers.
• Maintain the company's standards for ethical business practices and customer service.
