Bill Talley Ford, Inc. is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician for our full-service shop in Richmond, VA. This role offers competitive hourly pay and a $4,500 sign-on bonus, with a schedule that includes a closed Sunday and limited Saturdays.

You will perform a wide range of maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work at a busy, established shop. We value teamwork, quality repairs, and excellent customer service as part of our family-owned operation.

Formación

• Automotive technician experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of automotive systems.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new technology and diagnostic systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform quality maintenance and repairs according to repair orders and manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns using diagnostic tools and electronic test equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including mechanical, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and drivability concerns.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems as needed.
• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding diagnostic findings and any additional recommended repairs.
• Provide accurate estimates of the time needed to complete additional repairs.
• Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work as part of a team committed to quality repairs and excellent customer service.

Our technicians perform a wide range of maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work, and we're looking for a skilled technician who wants to be part of a busy, established shop with a great team.

Sign-On Bonus Details

• $1,500 paid with your first paycheck
• $1,500 paid at your 6-month anniversary

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Virginia State Inspection license is a plus, but not required. Candidates with strong automotive experience who are interested in obtaining their Virginia State Inspection certification are encouraged to apply.
