Job summary

New York Edge is seeking a Manager of Data & Evaluation to lead the Data Department, drive reporting, and ensure program data quality. You will coordinate data systems, oversee compliance, and work with leadership to support program improvement and funding initiatives.

The role emphasizes data strategy, performance metrics, and collaboration with program teams to deliver timely insights and actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• At least four years of progressively responsible experience managing program data, reporting, compliance, or evaluation.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience including staff development and performance management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data cleaning and pivot tables.
• Experience with funder or government reporting systems (DYCD Connect, Salesforce, 21stCCLC is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership for the Data Department and establish priorities.
• Develop year-round data analysis projects and reporting plans.
• Create actionable data briefs, dashboards, and recommendations for leadership and funders.
• Ensure data accuracy, quality control, and timely reporting across programs.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to align data processes and compliance.
• Lead training and coaching for data staff and program sites.
