Job summary

Fontaine Spray Suppression Company, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks an assembler in Springfield, TN to build and assemble quarter fenders and related components per schedules and customer specs.

You will prepare finished fenders for shipment, document inspections, and maintain clean, safe work areas while following all safety procedures and company policies. The role supports production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Six months of industrial experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble quarter fenders and components per schedules.
• Prepare finished fenders for shipments with proper labeling and packaging.
• Follow orders and assemble configurations to satisfy customer demands.
• Document first piece inspections and other required forms.
• Report problems to the Team Leader (non-conforming parts, material shortages).
• Maintain a clean, saft work area and proper storage of tools and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Periodic cleaning and maintenance of machinery and work areas.
• Assist other departments to meet production goals.
• Perform routine housekeeping and organize stations.
• Assist team as required to resolve workflow issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
