Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Plant Operator for our quarry in Manquin, Virginia. You will operate and monitor crushing, screening, and processing equipment to maintain consistent production and quality.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and a commitment to safety and preventive maintenance. You will work with maintenance and production teams to keep material moving and meet specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years operating equipment in quarry or similar industrial environment.
• Experience with crushers, screens, conveyors and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.
• Adjust plant controls to optimize production and product quality.
• Inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain accuracy of production and maintenance records.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Coordinate with teams to keep material moving.
