Central Stone Company in Potosi, Missouri, is seeking a 1st Shift Quarry Plant Operator & Maintenance to join our team. The role is full-time and involves operating, monitoring, maintaining, and repairing rock crushing and processing equipment, conveyors, and related systems.

Ideal candidates have experience in manufacturing or heavy equipment and a safety-focused mindset, plus strong mechanical aptitude. We train the right attitude; expected to work Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays in

Qualifications

• Safety-focused approach to all tasks and site rules.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with general manufacturing or heavy equipment operations.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather.
• Self-motivated with a solid work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental rules per MSHA and company policies.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs and clean equipment as needed.
• Observe crushers and conveyors during operation to ensure proper function.
• Assist with plant mode changes and operate skid steer for cleanup.
• Monitor production and communicate needs to management.
