Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a hands-on Utility Person to support plant operations across housekeeping, maintenance, production, and equipment operation. You will monitor plant conditions, perform routine maintenance and keep equipment and areas clean and organized.

Ideal candidates enjoy hands-on work, value teamwork, and adhere to safety protocols to maintain a productive work environment. Training may include safety and orientation at our Dallas area office.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year equipment/plant/maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read gauges/dials and make competent decisions.
• Willing to work irregular shifts, days, nights and weekends as needed.
• Good oral and written communication; safety‑minded and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in plant operations including production, quality control, loading and shipping.
• Plant clean-up and lubrication.
• Assist with preventative and routine maintenance on mobile and plant equipment.
• Must be willing to cross train in all plant areas.
• Operate plant-specific mobile equipment such as Bobcat, Kubota, RTV, etc.
