Job summary

Martin Marietta in Mascot, TN is seeking a Safety-minded Utility Person to support maintenance, production, and equipment operation at Midway Quarry. You will grease and lubricate equipment, maintain housekeeping, operate machines, and perform routine maintenance to keep the plant running smoothly.

You will conduct daily inspections, assist with loading and shipping, monitor site safety, and document activity. A High School Diploma or GED is required; experience in building materials is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in building materials preferred.
• Ability to perform maintenance and operate plant equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on mobile and plant equipment.
• Conduct daily pre/post-shift inspections and maintain equipment.
• Operate skid steer, loader and other tools to clean and maintain areas.
• Assist in production, loading, shipping and quality control.
• Maintain site housekeeping and safe traffic flow.
• Record sales activity and communicate with site personnel.
