Job summary

APAC Tennessee, Inc., a CRH company, seeks a Quarry Plant Operator to perform labor tasks and assist maintenance under the plant foreman. You will support crushers and washers, help with painting, tire work, and lifting, with duties assigned as needed.

The role requires ability to work in varying weather, long shifts, and possible travel or overtime. A high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience are preferred for this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, swings)

Responsibilities

• Maintain aggregate crusher, washer, and surrounding area for safe operation.
• Shovel, sweep, steam clean, paint, tire work, mechanical assistance.
• Communicate production issues to supervisor or lead person.
• Able to work overtime when required or travel as needed.
