Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. seeks a Mobile Equipment Operator II (Loader Operator) to transport materials around the quarry and feed crushers and trucks as production requires.

The role emphasizes safe operation of heavy equipment and adherence to environmental and health standards, on a full-time hourly basis. Ideal candidates will have experience with heavy equipment, the ability to work in varying weather, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in varying weather elements; quarry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate front end loaders (e.g., 993s, 992s, 988s, 980s) and other heavy equipment as needed.
• Transport materials within the quarry to piles, trucks, or crushers according to production needs.
• Inspect equipment each shift and report problems; correct malfunctions when possible.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and accurate material counts.
• Communicate safety, maintenance and production needs to quarry supervisor.
