Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking an experienced Welder with a strong background in quarry or aggregate operations and heavy equipment maintenance.

You will perform welding, fabrication, and repairs on heavy equipment, read blueprints, and troubleshoot mechanical issues to keep production running efficiently. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (AWS welder certification preferred) and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; AWS welder certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years welding and heavy equipment maintenance experience in quarry/mining/industrial settings.
• Ability to read blueprints/equipment manuals and interpret welding specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding and fabrication on heavy equipment and components.
• Repair crushers, conveyors, hoppers and processing equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and perform preventive maintenance.
• Read blueprints and welding specs to guide repairs.
• Maintain safe workshop practices and equipment records.
