SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) seeks a seasoned Plant Manager to oversee quarry operations with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will lead a diverse team across production, maintenance, quality, and logistics to achieve ambitious goals and drive profitability.

Success requires hands-on leadership, the ability to develop teams, and a proven track record in safety standards and environmental stewardship within the mining/quarry sector.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of quarry/mining management experience.
• Understanding of drilling, blasting, and material processing.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards in mining/quarry sectors.
• Experience with cost control and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage quarry operations with focus on safety, production goals, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Strategize objectives aligned with company mission and promote safety, performance, and quality culture.
• Direct plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics to meet objectives efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Develop and maintain a proactive maintenance and equipment rejuvenation program to minimize downtime.
• Enforce cost control strategies and manage operations within budget while maintaining high quality.
• Nurture and develop supervisors, technical staff, and operators through training and performance reviews.
