SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) seeks a seasoned Plant Manager for quarry operations. You will lead daily activities, champion safety, regulatory compliance, and efficiency across production, maintenance, quality, and logistics to meet goals.

You will build and coach a team of supervisors and operators, ensuring cost controls and adherence to safety standards while fostering a culture of performance, quality, and community trust.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in quarry/mining management.
• Knowledge of excavation, drilling, blasting, and material processing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards in mining/quarry.
• Experience with cost control and process improvement.
• Familiarity with MS Office and industry software.

• Oversee quarry operations with focus on safety, production, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Set objectives aligned with company mission and promote safety, performance, and quality.
• Direct plant operations covering production, maintenance, quality, and logistics to meet goals cost-effectively.
• Develop proactive maintenance and equipment rejuvenation programs to minimize downtime.
• Enforce cost controls within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Develop supervisors, technical staff, and operators through training and assessments.
• Ensure adherence to policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Serve as main contact for suppliers, regulators, and the local community.
