Job summary

Lehigh Hanson Inc. is seeking candidates to accurately process customer transactions, truck scale tickets, and shipping documentation to support quarry operations.

The role coordinates inbound/outbound truck traffic while delivering outstanding service to drivers and visitors. The position requires maintaining production, inventory, and sales records with precision, and supporting plant operations with data entry, reporting, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer transactions, truck scale tickets, and shipping documentation.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound truck traffic while providing outstanding customer service to drivers and visitors.
• Maintain production, inventory, and sales records with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support plant operations by preparing reports, entering data, and assisting with administrative and accounting-related tasks.
• Collaborate with plant personnel to ensure efficient material dispatch, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems, data entry, and business software applications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills when interacting with drivers, customers, and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in recordkeeping, reporting, and transactional processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while supporting safe and efficient plant operations.
• Work is primarily performed in a quarry office setting with regular interaction with plant operations and truck traffic.
• Frequent communication with customers, drivers, vendors, and site personnel.
• Exposure to outdoor conditions, dust, noise, and moving equipment when working around active quarry operations.
• Standard office tasks, including computer work, data entry, filing, and telephone communications.
