Job summary

Lehigh Hanson Inc. operates stone processing plants and seeks hands-on plant operators. You will check conveyors, screens, and crushers, report issues, and assist in starting and shutting down equipment while performing routine cleanup around the site.

Expect to grease, inspect, and make minor repairs; you must follow technical instructions, maintain safety practices, and work in outdoor/industrial conditions with lifting and climbing as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and capability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment.
• Understand and follow technical instructions, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.
• Aware of safe work habits around heavy machinery and moving equipment.
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Check conveyors, screens, and crushers; report operating problems and oversize stone.
• Start and shut down plant equipment; perform general cleanup around the plant.
• Make minor repairs and adjustments; inspect and grease/lubricate equipment.
• Operate the plant proficiently and perform other duties as requested.
