Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator I to transport materials around the quarry and operate a range of heavy equipment on projects across North America. The role emphasizes safe operation, regular inspections, and communication of maintenance and production needs.

Qualified candidates will have HS diploma or GED, and prior quarry or construction experience is preferred. Expect shift work, potential overtime, and strict PPE usage to maintain a safe job site while

Qualifications

Must be able to read and write.
High School Diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
Experience in quarry or construction environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate mobile equipment such as haul trucks, water trucks, rock breakers, and fuel trucks.
Operate front end loaders, dozers, backhoes, graders, excavators, dredges, and skid steers as needed.
Inspect equipment each shift and report issues.
Correct malfunctions or safety hazards or escalate to supervisor.
Perform site cleanup to maintain a safe work area.
Accurately count material additions as required.
Coordinate with quality personnel and adjust material blends as needed.
Communicate safety, maintenance and production needs.
Fulfill other assigned duties.
Support a culture of safety and comply with PPE requirements.
