Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator I to transport materials around the quarry, including trucks and loaders, ensuring safe and efficient operations. You will assist with equipment inspections and support production needs on site.

The role requires physical ability to work in varying weather, adherence to PPE policies, and teamwork with quarry staff to maintain safety and productivity on projects across North America.

Qualifications

• Experience operating/maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment.
• Able to perform physical activities in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks, water trucks, rock breakers, fuel trucks and other mobile equipment.
• Inspect equipment at start of each shift and report issues.
• Correct malfunctions or safety hazards or report to supervisor if unresolved.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and accurate material counts.
• Communicate safety, maintenance and production needs to team.
• Adhere to Amrize PPE policies and health and safety standards.
