Job summary

Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. seeks a Lead Person to oversee daily operations at the quarry with a strong safety focus.

You will communicate standards through goals, daily interactions, and team meetings, and provide input on evaluations while coordinating with supervisors on maintenance and planning. The position requires travel between locations and a 2:00 pm – 12:00 am shift, including weekends with overtime as necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 3 years of experience in building materials, mining or aggregates.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations with a safety-first mindset.
• Communicate standards through goals, meetings and evaluations; participate in performance reviews.
• Coordinate with Sr. Team Coordinator and Production Supervisor on maintenance and planning.
• Complete daily production, safety and maintenance reports accurately.
• Assist in training co-workers and support plant safety initiatives.
