Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Leadperson at the Moore Quarry Plant to bridge management and frontline operations, ensuring safe, efficient production. You will plan, organize, and direct daily work assignments while upholding company policies and safety standards.

You will supervise a crew, enforce procedures, and work with maintenance to schedule preventative actions and production plans. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring strong English communication and leadership.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1-4 years heavy equipment experience.
• Must follow safety rules around the position.
• Demonstrates exemplary field skills.
• Clear written and spoken English communication.
• Proficient with personal computers.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce all safety policies (MSHA/OSHA, state and company).
• Operate and manage heavy equipment and assist with maintenance planning.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production for scheduling and repairs.
• Complete daily production, safety and maintenance logs; assist with plans and forecasts.
• Lead and coach team members; communicate across operations.
