Job summary

Silvi Materials seeks an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for its Belle Mead, NJ operation. You will maintain quarry equipment such as rock crushers and conveyors, inspect faults, and implement improvements on a 1st shift schedule (5:00am–5:00pm) with potential 12-hour shifts based on workload.

Qualified applicants have 3+ years' maintenance experience, welding skills (MIG/STICK), and a technical-school background. This role offers comprehensive benefits and a signing bonus program.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a similar role.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Technical school education in a related field preferred.
• Welding experience (MIG, STICK, overhead).
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and schematics.
• Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance on quarry equipment (rock crusher, conveyors, electrical panels).
• Inspect and diagnose equipment faults and restore to operating condition.
• Evaluate failures, communicate findings, and install modifications.
• Perform daily rounds and follow preventative maintenance schedules.
• Lubricate, clean, and service equipment; keep area clean and safe.
