Job summary

APAC Central Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate diverse equipment across quarry and construction tasks in Utah. The role requires adherence to OSHA/MSHA regulations and strong safety practices.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of relevant experience. Travel and night/weekend shifts may be required depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience and/or training in heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to read construction documents and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment across quarry and construction tasks.
• Adhere to OSHA/MSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Report equipment or operational issues to Foreman or Safety/HR managers.
• Perform routine servicing and minor maintenance; escalate major issues.
• Complete pre- and post-operation inspections and documentation.
• Mentor and train less-experienced team members in equipment operation and repair.
• Take on general labor duties to support operations.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality; travel and nights/weekends as needed.
