Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a Multi-Skilled Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy equipment in a quarry environment and support production goals.

The role requires proficiency with loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and other machinery, with emphasis on safety and efficiency in varying terrain and weather conditions. High school diploma or trade certificate preferred, with 2+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a quarry or similar setting.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and MSHA regulations.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely in challenging terrain.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate loaders, excavators, haul trucks, dozers, graders.
• Maintain precise control of equipment across varying terrain and weather.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Load and unload raw materials, finished products, and waste.
• Excavate and move earth, rock, and other materials to support quarry operations.
• Maintain haul roads and work areas for safe traffic flow.
• Assist in stockpile management, plant feeding, and site maintenance.
• Perform basic maintenance checks and report issues to maintenance team.
• Collaborate with maintenance for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
